Two Bollywood movies and one Hollywood movie released on June 10, 2016. All three of them have fared well at the Box office so far.
‘Do Lafzon ki Kahani’
The Randeep Hooda and Kajal Aggarwal starrer ‘Do Lafzon Ki Kahani’ has earned Rs 3.74 crore in its opening weekend in India. As per Bollywood trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the film collected Rs 1.03 crore on Friday, Rs 1.26 crore on Saturday and Rs 1.45 crore on Sunday.
Directed by Deepak Tijori, the film is a remake of the 2011 South Korean film ‘Always’. Suraj (Randeep Hooda) is a part-time boxer in Malaysia. Jenny (Kajal Aggarwal) is a blind girl, on meeting whom Suraj falls in love with. When he comes to know that the reason for her blindness is he himself, he decides to have her operated
The Amitabh Bachchan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui starrer ‘TE3N’ has collected Rs 11.13 crore in its opening weekend in India. ‘TE3N’ collected Rs 2.62 crore on Friday, Rs 3.96 crore on Saturday and Rs 4.55 crore on Sunday.
Directed by Ribhu Dasgupta, the film is a remake of the South Korean film ‘Montage’ and also stars Vidya Balan. The film is about a 70-year-old man’s relentless pursuit for his kidnapped granddaughter in spite of the authorities giving up on the case.
‘The Conjuring 2’
Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga starrer ‘The Conjuring 2’ earned Rs 19.75 crore in its opening weekend in India, netting Rs 5.25 crore on Friday itself.
Directed by James Wan, the film deals about paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren who travel to London, England in 1977, where single mother Peggy Hodgson believes that something evil is in her home. When Peggy’s youngest daughter starts showing signs of demonic possession, Ed and Lorraine attempt to help the besieged girl, only to find themselves targeted by the malicious spirits.
