Turkish College Kidnapping: Absence Of Interpreter Stalls Arraignment

The scheduled arraignment by the federal authorities of alleged kidnappers of Turkish International College student has been stalled because of the absence of an interpreter.
The accused individuals had been charged on a 5 count-charge of acts of terrorism punishable by life imprisonment underneath the Terrorism (Prevention) (Modification) Act, 2013.
After they had been referred to as to take their plea, the defendants who should not have any lawyer to defend them, knowledgeable the trial choose, Justice John Tsoho, that they didn’t perceive or communicate English Language fluently.
The prosecution counsel, Mr. Aminu Aliyu’s efforts to offer an interpreter proved abortive.
