X-MEN is a constantly evolving franchise, and one of its stars has predicted that she is finished with her role.
Famke Janssen played Jean Grey for the first three X-Men films before also popping up in The Wolverine and Days of Future Past.
However, Sophie Turner seems to be currently inhabiting the role, apparently leaving Janssen done and dusted.
Still, she spoke very highly of her time as Grey when speaking at Denver Comic Con, according to Comic Book Movie.
“It’s the gift that keeps on, kept on giving,” she said fondly. “I think we’re done, but it was really great while it lasted and it lasted for a long time.
“It’s been nothing but a pleasure working not just as Jean Grey, which was such an honour because the comics were so fantastic already, but then the entire cast who I got to play with, all my fellow actors, thespians who are so talented.
“It was just a wonderful experience. I’m very grateful.”
She added: “Jean Grey is a part of me. I would definitely come back to play her whenever they ask me.”
For now, Turner is expected to play the part in Dark Phoenix, slated for November 2018.
